12:00 - 1:00 | Open Play + Practice (no scoring, tournament has not begun).

1:00 - 2:30 | Round Robin - Teams will play to 11. The top 16 teams at 2:30 will participate in the Final 16 Single-Elimination.

2:30 - 3:15 | Final 16 Single-Elimination.

Scoring

  1. A cornhole bag that goes through the hole is worth 3 points.

  2. A cornhole bag that lands on the board and stays there is worth 1 point.

  3. A cornhole bag that lands on the ground or bounces onto the board is worth 0 points. Any bag that hits the ground or another object (including the ceiling) and lands on the board will remain on the board for the duration of the inning but will not be scored.

  4. Cancellation Scoring - Only one team can score points per inning. The team with the higher score cancels out the points of the opposing team in that inning.

    • Points Calculation - The team with the higher score in an inning earns the difference in points. For instance, if Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 2 points in an inning, Team A earns 3 points for that inning.

  5. Round Robin - The first player or team to reach or exceed 11 points is the winner. An exact score of 11 is not required to win the game.

  6. Final 16 - The first player or team to reach or exceed 21 points is the winner. An exact score of 21 is not required to win the game.

  7. Once 15 minutes has passed, your game will conclude and timeout in the Scoreholio app. Your points will be recorded and the team with the higher score is the winner.

  8. Ties - If there is a tie, the teams will continue to play until the first team scores 3 points. After a winner has been determined, report the results to Cornhole Command Center for the results to be updated.

Tournament Rules

  1. All teams must use the provided cornhole bags. No personal or custom bags may be used.

  2. Players pitch their bags in an underhand motion from the pitcher's box next to each side of the board. Players must keep both feet behind the front of the board during their shot and until their bag comes to rest on the other side of playing area.

  3. Players alternate turns tossing their cornhole bags toward the opposite board.

  4. After each team has pitched four bags, players take score, and resume pitching to the opposite board.

  5. The team who scored points in the previous inning goes first in the next inning. If it was tied, the team who went first in the last inning gets to go first again.

  6. The Scoreholio App will be used to track the winner and loser of each game. Teams are responsible for inputting and submitting final scores so that total points can be used as a tiebreaker in the event two teams have an equal number of wins.

  7. A total of 16 teams will make the final single elimination tournament. Seeding will be randomized by the Scoreholio App. The 16 teams will be determined by:

    • Total wins

    • First Tiebreaker – Total points

    • Second Tiebreaker – Least points scored against

  8. If a rule question arises that is not spelled out, it will be brought to the head tournament referee. The head tournament referee ruling will be final, and that rule will be enforced the same for the remainder of the tournament.

  9. One of DPR’s central beliefs is respect the individual, any player that is not acting in this manner will be removed from the tournament.
